Never heard of them before. But Wiki and Myspace tells that he plays in the band. On the videos i've seen until now there's no Thomas to see, but on the first picture of the myspace pics you can clearly see him. Maybe he only played on the studio albums and can't tour with them because he already does with tmv? I don't know, just check it out.

Nice post man...It's good to see this kind of thing. I've never seen Pridgen play in such a setting, let alone play so FEW notes!

Is it just me, or does anyone else find his playing more attractive when he's not soloing over everything...

His work in TMV has much more depth, and is generally alot more interesting imo.

Yeah, if I didn't see his face I wouldn't have believed it was him. These are cool to see where he came from, but musically they're kinda boring. Pridgen doesn't always have to kill the drums to be interesting, though... Las Lagrimas, and Soothsayer, are both excellent examples of that.

People have to stop blaming Pridgen for playing too many notes and realize that Omar writes the drum parts. If you wanna hear Pridgen truly doing his own thing, check out his work with Christian Scott... badass, groovy drumming.

Dude he destroys his kit in both of those songs, probably two of the best of examples of him being interesting while he kills the drums. I think he plays great in this AOL sessions, he keeps the kit sounding so full by using the toms instead of just keeping the hi-hat count going the whole time. Honestly, this stuff fits his style better than Volta even though its cool to hear him play so aggressively on their stuff.
