i have a promo CD with "Selkies: The Endless Obsession" and "Autodidact" on it, along with a track by Darkest Hour and A Perfect Murder.

BTBAM stuff is awesome, i want the album, reckon it will knock Darkest Hour out of regulra rotation for a while, even though thats also a great album.

I thought it was boring and couldn't even get through the whole thing.

On the other hand, I think the new Ion Dissonance is amazing.

That means new Ion Dissonance needs a new listen.

I was going to see BTBAM/DEP last week, but tickets were sold out days in advance. I was unhappy. I underestimated the drawing power of DEP.

The guitar lines from the end of the first song and the beginning of the second song are sweet.

Why is every band that incorporates prog described as "you can tell they like the volta" or something like that.

Both guitarists in this band just stand there motionless for the entire set.

I don't approve.

Welcome to prog metal

the reason that every band who is somewhat prog is mention as liking volta is because volta as far as im concerned invented the jam

and i also agree with the motionless is lame but not in there case they tore it up
