i think some yuppies are really sexy

Yeah? Well, right now I'm wearing a lovely shirt and tie combo with some pinstripe trousers and polished shoes. Do anything for ya?

are you teasing me?

Well no, in the sense that I have to wear that kind of thing at work.
Erm, but I suppose I could be........how about I seductively unbotton my collar and loosen my tie?

please do continue....

Just add a machine gun to any rag, it becomes provocative!

that cover's crap. I have no idea what Bowie's thinking letting that thing go to print. He's had some of the greatest album covers ever and this is what he puts out today?!! Does this compare to Aladdin Sane? Diamond Dogs? Hunky Dory? He should be ashamed of himself. I mean, c'mon, big eyed anime?!! David, why?!

So, I finally got around to getting Low and Station To Station and I can safely say that David Bowie is without a doubt one of my favourite musicians of all time. I've got er, 8 albums I think.... hold on,

Hunky Dory
Ziggy Stardust
Aladdin Sane
Station To Station
Low
Heroes
Scary Monsters
Best Of 74-79

Yeah, 8. And they are all fantastic!! I need reccomaendations ona few more albums though. Two to be precise.

1) Diamond Dogs (I hear mixed reviews)
2) Black Tie/White Noise (I hear, er, very few reviews)

All help/comments much appreciated. Other than that just share your love for Bowie!!

I agree. But you see, I couldn't fit the words "within limits" into the subtitle bar. Scary Monsters was 1980 and it's great. His last great album I guess

David Bowie's pretty rad. I think he's had a lot of influence on the music industry and he should be highly respected for that. Plus, he's written a lot of good music. It fits in, but is always somewhat different than the currrent music at the time. "I'm Afraid of Americans" was a great duet with Trent Reznor, by the way.

i'd recommend 'diamond dogs', and perhaps 'lodger', even though i don't have it yet. it's part of the berlin trilogy that eno produced along with low and heroes. i'd also recommend his latest record, 'heathen' (produced by tony visconti who did most of the classic ones). it's absolutely wonderful!
