We won't be seeing another Tool album till about 2006 or 2007. Live with it. APC are a totally different band and it's stupid to compare the two. Grr

That track sounds alright...although my head is telling me that maybe I'm over APC after listening to the first album a hundred billlion times back when i was in college.

And Twiggy Ramirez does go by his real name now; Jeordie White.

Just heard a radio rip of the song. Good stuff.

. -the music is nothing special.-

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?????????????????????

In my opinion, the music in "MER DE NOMES"is awesome, majestic, complex, deep, and it brought emotion and something totally different to the dead scene that was music around that time(because between 1997 and 2000 there was real VOID into music.I mean, there were some good records released during that years but still, those were the worst years of the 90´s.
And Maynard´s voice is so mysterious and beautiful...ahhh...

that is what I have to say

I hope TOOL release a new record soon,LED ZEPPELIN didn´t wait that long to release their albums.
But if they think it is better for them,or they don´t want to release a new album until they are totally sure it is the best they can create,I will wait pattiently, since I admire their honesty

that's nice. i found the album to be emotionally shallow, music wise. the lyrics and vocals were amazing, im not just trying to praise maynard here but to me he is the only good thing about apc.

and judith is a terrible song.

yes, judith is pretty pathetic. maynard's voice is the only real glaring positive in apc.

I couldn't disagree more!

Yes, Maynard has a lovely voice, but Billy Howerdel has a pretty interesting and original style about his work. I don't think apc would be anywhere near as good as they are without Maynard, but he's not the only positive... cmon.

As for album art... I think it's amazing. The kind of thing I had hoped TMV would've done with De-loused. Simple, colourful, looks beautiful.

I haven't heard the new single... only got a chance to listen to the 30 second clip, but it sounds good. If anyone would be so kind as to point me in the direction of the radio leak, I would appreciate it.

Anyway, that's what I have to say about that. Keep fit, and have fun.

I loathe Judith, worst song of that great CD.

Top 5 drummer still around today:
1. Jon
2. Jimmy Chamberlain
3. Ludwig Dahlsson
4. Danny Carey
5. Fucked if I know the rest

Josh Freese isn't that good man.

Danny Carey is tre amazing in my opinion. That guy can play different time signatures with each limb... at the same time. It's mindbogglingly good. Jon Theodore is good, but not Danny Carey good. The drummer from Burnt by the Sun is pretty awsome as well.
