I would say somewhere between the dark madness of Noct but more dirty and raw. Not much guitar in the first 4 tracks. Sounds like it came from one stream of consciousness and the same session just cut in parts- which is a positive thing. (But not like the ORL&JF record though)

all sorted out and i apologize for the outburst. the sudden omar got me excited and then to have it taken away made me very upset and you just so happened to be on the other end.

and fear eats the soul does have amazing guitar. this album just keeps getting better.

Is it just me, or is Tentaculos a slowed down / jam version of one of his other songs (I can't fucking remember which one yet... even after searching). Like exactly a slow version.

It's obvious that Omar has acquired a really big taste in creating electronic music. I wonder if he does decide to do another Mars Volta album if it'll end up being even more electronic than Nocto.

I dig it too. it's a song worthy of an alternate version IMO. I love Agua Dulce.

The last track is one of the most different things ive heard Omar do. Beautiful. This album is friggin dopeski. Omar + Deantoni is one great combo.
