Pretentious, definitely not. Obscure, extremely. Don't take my word for it though, find out for yourselves.

I recently joined a crew of curators inviting different artists to share their selection of tracks, coupled with one of their own, and 3 more we curate ourselves.
I invited them for my first episode. Don't expect anything close to their music, they picked some out there shit, random ugandan pop or reggae, even I was caught off guard.
Still, it still fits right here I feel, as well as my picks, obviously, because ain't I a sophisticated prick ? That's right.
Anyway, here it is : https://www.mailta.pe/322/nihiloxica/

So does world music mean "any music not from America"...?

I think it has been mentioned before, but starting to dig through releases by the record label Finders Keepers. Andy Votel & co. are amazing curators of rare oddities. Was tickled to see they included a track by one of my favorites, A. E. Bizottság, on one of their releases.

Finders Keepers is the shit! Been very into that label since Cedric repped them on his youtube channel years ago. The records by Selda, Susan Christie, Ersen, Sarlota and the B Music, Well Hung and Pomgranates comps are worth checking out!
Maybe in 30 years, Finders Keepers will be the label to release the lost Zavalaz record.
