cool, another tbe fan! a mate stu from modern music engineered begins here and the guys decided to scrap him for american's. but meh.

the tool site mentioned something about a promotional tour around australia mid feb for their new album minus adam who producing their upcoming dvd. so with that said, release date can't be that far or long

yeh go uh australia bands. ie tbe, cog, karnivool.

umm yeh got back from bdo yesterday and flicked throught the booklet handout. 1 full page read this. .

'tool's new album out autumn 06'

so yeh, no real news as australias autumn is americas spring.
march is the go, which is great, like, i im willing to wait one more month.

Tool has just been announced as a headliner for Coachella this year.


And a few other festivals in Europe too. Greenfield in Switzerland is a definate a few other possibles floating around like Ruisrock, Leeds Festival, and Reading Festival.

Also id like to point out that anyone who says they have news on a actual release date is lying.

I would expect another yearly april fools joke from the band as well, so look for that too

Have Tool ever said anything about the Mars Volta in interviews or anything? I'm curious what they think of eachother.

...and while TMV make much better music, I vastly prefer the Alex Grey spiritual aesthetic that Tool have going than Storm's garbage.

i would guess that Maynard likes them having personally invited them to open for A Perfect Circle.

Yes this is about the new album but no its not coming out in April read the most recent post on Toolband and you'll see they say MAY '06

I can't remember where it is I read it, but Danny Carey has mentioned when Deloused came out that it would eventually be seen as the Darkside of the Moon of its era.
