I have really enjoyed listening to a lot of these albums today. Despair is a pretty cool. There I said it. Sorry. Not sorry.

Also got up to the balls in Megaritual, Old Money, Manual Dex and the live album with TP on drums.

hah! you're not the only one

i've actually really enjoyed listening to despair from time to time. have to be in the right mood though. usually when it's a shitty day. or i wide awake at like 3am and delirious. it sounds like a trip.

Thanks John!!  Finally have my ORL in one folder instead of scattered Flac folders and converted WAVs and all that craziness.

This is true, but also note that you can download the movie from my site. Just right click and save as. It's in an awkward file format (vp9 with vorbis audio in webm container) for the purposes of getting it to play nicely with HTML 5 but it should theoretically play in VLC on your computer.

Youtube videos are so easily downloadable, usually in nice MP4 formats.

Uh, why don't the files autoplay? I mean, great job on the site, but it seems a pretty basic requirement to be able to listen to the whole album without manually choosing each track.

Unfortunately that is not trivial whatsoever and would probably force me to use a different media player incapable of allowing you to download the tracks. If you want to listen to a whole album, just take the 2 minutes to download each track and then play them however you'd like.

Ok, I mean, you did all this on your free time so I'm not demanding anything. It just seems like it's something that would improve the functionality a lot. But w/e.

How is it difficult? It looks like you're using straight up html5 audio elements to play the songs... why not:

$("#song1").bind('ended', function() { $("#song2").currentTime=0; $("#song2").play(); } );
no?

Does anyone have some form of a soundtrack for The Sentimental Engine Slayer?

I know a lot of it is stuff from various solo albums but some of it isn't

and it would be cool to have all the variations of Private Fortunes

Someone could rip the scenes with the music in it like they did for El Bufalo De La Noche, but it'd be kind of shit I imagine.
