Cannot tell you how excited I am for this next record. Been getting into a lot of french house/electro lately and I think because of how much the genre has grown and unfortunately exploited by the likes of the pop world a Daft Punk return should be very much welcomed. Gonna be an AMAZING record.

Been listening to Daft Punk before I ever even made the connection to the world of electronic music. There was no other electronic music to me. just Discovery.

I'm more saddened by finding a post from KENVOLTA right above yours than learning about their split :'(
In all seriousness, even tho Im not a huge fan of RAM, they did have an incredible run. I'll never forget buying Discovery when I was young, and the reaction I had, Vs the one from my family: they were all adamant that it was a broken record after hearing the One More Time loop for what felt endless to them haha
I'd wager they were tired of getting about a reunion, dropping a Alive 2xx7 release and whatnot.

Just listened over RAM. Some real amazing tracks on it. I was underwhelmed a bit at the time but I still really appreciate their artistry through their whole career.

Sad, but also I'm ok with this. Not sure what else there was for them to do. The existing albums are darn near perfect.
