^
I think it was quite obvious because 90% of the songs here weren't performed on that gig

There is a live snippet of "it all begins with you" on youtube somewhere, I'll try to post it

Not 90, 60%

Let's recall D, Eva and Teri were all there during the sessions. And yesterday's announcement says "range of guest musicians"...

D and Eva were present at the session at Gold Diggers in Hollywood, not Clouds Hill.

Oh, btw why label something that comes out as a single box set "Part I, II & III" if there won't be a "Part IV, V & VI"? ;)

yeah manual dexterity part 2 is my favorite album

My bad on assuming this is taken from a performance at the clouds hill fest, I'm not following the Facebook and didn't fully get that, nor did I know that most of these songs weren't on any setlists. Well there goes my dream of hearing some of these songs extended a bit, but maybe I'll be wrong on that too. One can hope. I'm very much looking forward to hearing these songs without D, that'll be interesting. (Not saying I don't like his presence, quite the opposite, I just think it'll be cool to hear what this lineup or lineups, sound like.)

His favourite Ipecac album is Zen Thrills.

If you’ve noticed, he hasn’t touched any of the Teri records. So I guess the idea behind this project is to cherry pick his favourite songs that HE sang on and have them redone with a more skilled vocalist (because we know he doesn’t think he’s a great singer). It’s like a definitive take on his own songs.

That was a jam session for something else. A photo shoot I believe. They didn’t record anything. That was in Cali, not at Clouds Hills.

The song I’m most excited to hear re-done is Killing Out the Special Tide because I think it would have been one of my favorite tracks from the entire series if Omar’s singing on it wasn’t the worst thing of the entire series.

Plenty of these songs have Teri on backing vocals and co-lead. Why didnt he use her in the first place?

Maybe pink floyd spy music is the friends we made along the way? Anyone ever asked hypeman about whether or not ipecac had that spy music album?

Because he probably had ideas for melodies and lyrics. Omar is very good at writing melodies, but it’s rare that his voice should be the final stamp on such fantastic music. I like Omar’s voice in small doses. But I’m so happy he found a great singer to take the majority of the melodies he wrote and maybe add a few tweaks of their own.

Solid State Mercenaries has a couple of tracks that I wish were on this album. Other than that, the tracklist is pretty much spot on. To Kill A Chi Chi is the one I’m excited for the most.
