incredible

store bought bones and broken boy soldiers are incredible, absolutely incredible. Steady as she goes is good stuff, as in blue veins, but hot damn, are those two previous songs the shit.

I may buy a 1 day pass at ACL fest to see these guys.

i'm actually pretty interested in this, i'll have to check it out. if it sounds like the white stripes + a competant rythym section i'll probably dig though.

Yeah, I saw them there too. Did you see the line?! It almost went around the entire perimeter of that block! I've never seen such a long line at Amoeba. I thought the show itself was pretty good. I really liked the last song they played but I don't know the name of it. Good show.

I like Level...and Blue Veins

the B-Sides "Desire" and "The Bane Rendition" aren't bad...but they're both definitely B-Sides..."Desire" in particular.

Steady As She Goes and Broken Boy Soldier are about the only things that save this album for me.

After quite a few listens I'm pretty convinced it's pretty meh.

Those songs are definite highlights, but I'd still probably rate the whole album a bit higher than "meh". I'm not much of a White Stripes fan, so I slept on this album for while...but I'm glad I finally checked it out.
