Fell in love with Victimas Del Cielo the first time I heard it. And now, one year later it has happened again

god damn the synths are so perfect on this album. the organ solo in victimas is Amazing. good job marcel. omar easily makes up for the lost guitar solo in Carne De Perro. some Great fucking guitar work right there to end it. just wish i could hear more of it, it ends way too soon and he's still playing as the song fades! balls. still. i already like this album more than solar gambling. one of his best yet, if not his best imo.

Is that really Ximena on the 7th track? Sounds really good and shows that she can do something different. Her voice is great on that track.

Can't wait to get the vinyl. This is up there with Xenophanes and Apocalypse Inside an Orange for me. This could be my favorite Omar album ever.

Yeah, I noticed after the 8th track had no singing on it. Typo I guess?

This album really delivered. I listened through with my obligatory joint, and it was one of the best first listens yet.

Victimas is way more fantastic than I thought it was going to be, such a strange feeling to it, but very interesting too. The organ/keyboard solo at the five minute mark was so good, was that Marcel? That extra half beat pause right at the beginning as it started made it for me. Corazon perhaps felt a little out of place, but I think it is inevitable that this opinion will change.

I thought halfway through about how radically different this Omar is compared to anything from more than a couple of years ago. It is amazing the progression that he has made, and how consistently awesome it has all been. This album means something in his timeline, but it will take a while for us to see what. Why he isn't so much more huge than he is is beyond me (but I like it this way :) )

I love his new psychedelic-pop-noise-whatever style as much as I loved his psychedelic-jazz-noise era, but I'd love to see a combination of both. The last solo is as epic as Sangrando Detras de Los Ojos. I hate how it leaves you asking for more.

I totally agree.. i do miss his ol' wankery, but this new style is so fresh. This album seems so well put together.. like all the songs actually belong together instead of one or two that feel out of place, kinda like Xenophanes. Lisa also adds a lot to it with her sexyness.
