I think he barely did anything, playin a bit of drums,a bit of keys...
Actually I think that he doesn't have to be a drummer (apart from Indiscipline and Level 5) in this group. He is a very important part as the main key player though

Was gonna say you could hear him tinkling the ivories a bunch on cat food and also on sheltering sky, that was certainly interesting! Thank god they managed to find another drummer who could also play keys at a pro level when they first needed him to step in for bill in 2016, that had to have been quite the conundrum figuring out how to backfill for bill.

Looks like jakko and tony have keys set up next to them - so in this 7 man band there are potentially 4 keyboard players onstage! Any clue what jakko and tony played keys on?

sorry,I catched Jakko playing keys on one song (cannot remember) and tony played a few things while tapping on his stick (according to my friends), I could not see that much of their keys from my angle

I mean it would be a nightmare to recall them and get fixed physical copies out to folks so I don’t fault them. They are offering free downloads of the effected content to those who were impacted which imo is a good compromise.

Gotta remember that DGM is a small operation, literally an indie label, and producing a 24 disc boxed set on an almost annual basis is a huge undertaking, something most major labels won’t do due to the work involved and likely razor thin profit margins. World is not perfect but damn if you look at the DGM content that comes out every year it’s pretty damn impressive

Cat Food - A little underwhelming for my tastes my dream is that they expand the ending into some sort of Groon-like improv.
EleKtriK - A nice meaty interpretation, well done!
Sheltering Sky - Absolutely beautiful, I look forward to every performance of this version.

While I agree to most of your points I still think it is kind of sad that no one noticed so many errors, especially when doing "rookie" mistakes when it comes to digital audio and the consequences of working with bluray

Oh I agree it’s certainly a bit sloppy. Same can be said for some of the edits on the meltdown Blu Ray last year where some of the video cuts are choppy when they switch angles tcamera angles....overall great stuff but there’s some warts there.

Anyway......they played schizoid finally! And if Tony’s pictures are to be believed looks like Mel also has a keyboard in his rig so literally the only two people without keys in their rig now are pat and Gavin:

Any indication that we have now reached KC10? Or is this perhaps KC 9.4 or somethin, I've lost track.

Also, with the box sets, do they only do a single limited pressing to begin with, or does it seem like in the case with these defective Blu-rays that a second batch could work to correct these errors?

Fucking finally heard Easy Money!
Besides this and Cat Food the setlist was very similar to the last show I saw in Essen last year. No Sheltering Sky unfortunately. Still enjoyed it a lot. No bootleg, sorry, decided against doing it the very last minute. The guy sitting next to me recorded it with a microphone attached to his watch. It took about 3 songs until the sound was good. Then it was pure bliss.
