they haven't broken up. they just haven't written or recorded anything in a few years.

everyone thought they broke up after End Hits but they came back with The Argument out of nowhere. Because the band exist very much on their own terms they just release albums when they feel they've come up with something worth releasing.

There will be another album some time. It would be amazing to see one this year though.

i dont think fugazi will be back

brendan and joe both have families and children

ian has The Evens, who really suck

and guy is doing some shit i can't remember

i mean... its been 5 years.

but at least the argument was a good final album.. if it is their final

end hits has its moments... but the second half of the record isn't great

You really can't go wrong with The Argument, Red Medicine, or 13 songs. I've dug almost everything I've heard by them, but I'm most familiar with those.

besides End Hits, i think In On The Kill Taker is their worst, although it does have some great songs.

Lol @ me not liking Fugazi before. pixiesfanyo's indignance made me re-listen to Repeater and (although I know it's not his favourite by any means) I like it. A whole lot.

Whoa. I just listened to The Argument last night. Funny to see this pop up again.

It's one of my favorite albums ever at this point. Great band. Wish I had seen them in their prime.

The only track I have ever liked by them was Give Me The Cure off of 13 songs. Maybe I should give them another shot sometime.

The Argument is a really solid album. Only other album I own is 13 songs, which I'm not too fond with.. Are Repeater and Kill Taker significantly better?

Fugazi is fucking awesome!

I've been lucky enough to get to see them play live three times. The second time I even got to meet Ian. That was sweet! I felt like such a dolt, though ... I was only just 21 at the time, and kinda shy. Totally clammed up! Couldn't think of a damn thing to say to the man! lol! I'm pretty sure I just smiled a lot. ;) Anyway, I sound like I'm boasting ... not my intention.

My favorite has always been Steady Diet of Nothing, and the first side, (half) of 13 Songs.
The song, "Suggestion" kicks some serious ass!
