The only thing I'm weirded out by is a bunch of fans explaining amongst each other how their idol could make more money. Omar! Please listen to us faithful comatorians, you could be RICH AND FAMOUS!!!!

is it wrong to want artists you like to be successful for what you like them for?

Seriously though, we're weirded out by omar's 26 albums while bucket head releases 100 a year

Which makes me wonder: Is there a place on the internet where weirdos dissect all of Bucketheads music? Like "oh that lick at minute 2 track 5 disc 302 is derived from riff 1 track 8 disc 111"

Dunno about that but there are people on vk.com like "holy shit, that riff on 13:46 is fucking amazing" every once in a while. However on TMV vk groups that i run (all three of them) there are almost no comments at all. But, a lot of reposts and likes.
Interesting to point out that the "general audience" are more familliar with TMV leaked tracks than with past omar solo album. That's why when zapopan came out, most of people were like "woah these new songs are amazing. I'm pretty sure the first 4 tracks were on leaked TMV demos!"

Another marketing ploy from buckethead: if you buy all 256 albums, you get a 55% discount = 245$ instead of 545$

I love every song on this album. Songwriting is so good, variation in songs is nice, the instrumentation is very well put together, melodies are catchy as hell, the mixing wraps it all up so nicely. And of course the vocals are great

2016 vox > 2012 vox > 2017 vox ;)))))

Seriously though, still thoroughly enjoying this a year later.

This ones one of my favorite records not just in this series, but in general so I've been taking my sweet ass time trying to put together lyrics and got... a few songs done. Sort of. Feel free to make corrections or bitch about mobile formatting (:

"Saloenlize"

Tainted rose was hoping for a rest from certainty
Collapse in the marble, tell them how it's time
Golden arrow, she faces her hunger in the rain
And although she knows there's no end in sight, she struggles on.

Sad lonely eyes,
Confronting those who talk to her.
Gave all but settled down,
Cause life has a way to make you pay the debts.

All the days behind her, but of course they wouldn't turn
How long could any person take this?
She was found hanging from, every wish one could possibly have
No one could see passed his tragedy, but she once???

Sad lonely eyes,
Confronting those who talk to her,
Gave all but settled down,
Cause life has a way to make you pay her debts

Sad lonely eyes,
Confronting those who talk to her,
Gave all but settled down,
Cause life has a way to make you pay your debts

"Umbrella Mistress"

I was dying real slowly,
Without a reason to misbehave.
Wishing him my father dead,
I was wishing him my father dead.
Condemning him to the floor.
No enemy of mine.
Condemning him to the floor.

Umbrella mistress, my soul
Will go
Umbrella mistress murderer
Will go

I was waiting for an answer
Expecting every truth to be told
Wishing him my father dead
Wishing him my father dead

First chapter ??? half my skin
And I found him on my body
For the rest of my time

Umbrella mistress, my soul
Will go
Umbrella mistress murderer
Will go

We swim offshore return to shelter
Nothing in us could stop the fear
The skies we once knew now are gone
But there's a song that all can hear
And there's a word that's never silent

Guilty, guilty
Living my life guilt free

"Houses Full of Hurt"

You walk over the alley where your spirit was inverted
Structure of your house was born a mile ago

You're always howling, tonight
You're always howling

When the ocean moves inside you
Makes the cancer crash your skin
No one wants to kiss you anymore

You know you cant leave me here to die
Alone (anymore)
I know you won't leave me here to die
(Alone anymore)

You're always howling, tonight
You're always howling

Reach back to touch truth and save face
It's all or nothing in this house
Given shelter in this chasm of faith
In this long road lost in chains
Break your heart through the doubt and shame

"Eastern Promises"

Say what you promised me
Taken away
Trusted a life to fall inside
Dust on the frame of what we hoped
Would stay ours

Lonely broken hearts to blame
STARS that gave back nothing
Love went down in flames
Again

When did you ever really know me
Make us feel like
You might have cared
What could you ever say you gave me
I have sold off all my hope
For this haunted fold??

Lonely broken hearts to blame
Stars that gave back nothing
Love went down in flames
Again

Lost our house under this weight
Pray for signs of life in darkness
Lonely broken hearts to blame
STAIRS that gave back nothing
Love went down in flames
