GSL is very pleased to announce the forthcoming release of a very special record, a collaboration between Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Damo Suzuki of the legendary band CAN. Entitled "Please Heat This Eventually", the vinyl-only 12" EP will be released in early December and initially available through mailorder only. It will be properly released to stores in early 2007. The recording features musical contributions from the OR-L Quintet (Juan Alderete de la Pena, Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez, Money Mark Nishita and Adrian Terrazas Gonzales).

GSL's Special 12 Series is available for download on itunes NOW! There are a total of 9 unreleased tracks from the 2005 series being issued digitally for the first time, including those from OMAR RODRIGUEZ-LOPEZ and JOHN FRUSCIANTE, XIU XIU, KILL ME TOMORROW, FREE MORAL AGENTS, and last but by no means least, ALAVAZ RELXIB CIRDEC. Other songs from the series, such as those by FAVOURITE SONS and SABERTOOTH TIGER, are available on those bands' new albums.

The rumored vinyl version of GOGOGO AIRHEART's last album, Rats! Sing! Sing!, has appeared at long last. It is a limited-edition LP on a new Australian label called Exo Records, and we have some copies for mailorder, available now: https://www.goldstan...3312562886c39c0

Bands on tour!
ANAVAN will tour the U.S. beginning October 25.
COAXIAL and SEXYTIME EXPLOSION are currently on tour in the U.S.
DMONSTRATIONS will tour the U.S. in October and November, including dates supporting THE SLITS.
SABERTOOTH TIGER will be touring Australia in November/December, dates are posted on myspace now.

SO...
do you think this is just a mastered version of the show(s) they played together?
or do you think this is some kind of studio material?

Oh shit, is this also the reported Omar solo album we heard about in one of the last news letters? If it's not Omar works too god damn fast. He needs a break :-)

by "the show they play together", do you mean the Omar Rodriguez Quintet, or the Quintet and the guy for CAN together?
because there's already a studio version of what they played during the Omar Rogriguez Quintet tour

i guess thet this new album will be hard to find in europe..
