anyway i decided the other day that i need desert search for techno allah to be in the soundtrack for me and my friend's film adaptation of john milton's paradise lost, aptly titled Paradise: Lost. it would be brilliant.
i respect the guy, maybe a little weird for a man in his late 30s but he obviously takes what he does seriously, i really wish i had the freedom to do the kind of stuff he does (assuming i also had any kind of songwriting talent, which i don't)

thats what i was trying to sayfuck mike patton. he could shit on a plate and people would call it brilliant. he gets so much credit for having a crazy ass voice and dabbling in every fucking genre known to man that he totally neglected the whole "songwriting" thing.
imo

I couldn't even vote for anything because everything is good, though Bungle and FNM are the best. His arrangements in Fantomas, especially on The Director's Cut, are amazing. Portrait of a Serial Killer, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Experiment in Terror, and Charade are all lovely.
My favorite Patton performances are as follows: Just A Man by FNM, Squeeze Me Macaroni by Bungle, and When Good Dogs Do Bad Things by him and Dillinger.
I could go on and on about him. I can't wait for new Fantomas, Tomahawk, and Lovage.

peeping tom has grown on me a lot since first heard the album. it's kind of a shame everyone was like 'oh meh' about it, probably the same people that criticise him for making 'noise'. check out all my sources, i'm not making any assumptions or generalisations at all!
Peeping Tom wore out pretty quickly for me, I dont think its bad at all, but with Doseone and the like in tow, it shouldve been absolutely amazing, and it wasnt all that. I'm one of the people who likes his 'noise' stuff too.
Desert search for Techno Allah is great, maybe the best thing they made, Disco Volante is so goddamn good.

Definitely lovage if you want some humor, and the songs are still really listenable.Hey Amorfous, I've heard:
Faith No More
Tomahawk
Fantômas (D.C only)
Peeping Tom
Mr. Bungle
The Dillinger Escape Plan with Mike Patton
What should I go with next?you didnt give a choice for "they all suck"
Conrgats on idiotic post.

And the X ecutioners one is a ltitle tough, since you *have* to listen to it all at once, since every song is only a minute or a little bit more, it has to be taken in context. save a few tracks radio worthy. it's a great listen.
ahhh, i completely forgot about Hemophiliac, I guess just vote Zorn if you want that. i thought Id forget something. haha.you left out Hemophiliac (w/ zorn and ikue mori). i like his stuff with zorn the best. as far as him being a bad songwriter, well, i hate most bands that are normally considered great songwriters. i love his stuff, it's not all genius, but some of it is.
