Title says it all. This topic is to tell when Cotopaxi Live from iTunes is actually available. I'll edit the first post to say so when it has been released

EDIT: its apparently out now so this is the discussion topic for it

Yeah they basically ripped everyone off and didnt put it out yet.
I think it was a ploy to draw ppl in and take their money.

Hopefully this comes out.
What I'm wondering is where this is from? What live show? Or maybe a live studio recording of the song, like itunes does with some other artists.

Wow, very interesting indeed. Definitely recorded in a studio, at least I think. And thank you, Sier.

Thank you very much, sir.
Sounds VERY produced, but you can still tell it was a live performance. I also think it's from the Ventura show. Some parts just sound familiar from that show.

What makes you say that?

I can confirm that it's either overdubbed or else it is NOT from Ventura, Bonnaroo, or ICA in London. Don't believe me? Listen to the second "...That's why I'll magnify your head" line, right before the bridge. Cedric sings it the same way he does on the studio recording, which he doesn't do at any of those three shows. Hurricane Festival? They would have had to master it really quickly, but it's possible. Otherwise I don't know where it could be from, given that there is lots of crowd noise throughout it.

It's not the studio version overdubbed, but it's also the first time he's done "don't stop dragging the lake" twice.. It might be from one of the European versions. In fact I'm almost certain it is, I don't see any other option, unless it was that Abbey road recording and they added the crowd noise in.. it does seem pretty constant - they don't erupt during the end of the song or anything, and stay constant during the bridge.. [but then why would TMV do that?]

There's electricity throughout it....

It sounds live....but also sounds like some parts (vocals) could have been overdubbed. Who knows....

Do we even know for sure that this is the official iTunes live Cotopaxi or is it just a live version of cotopaxi? Because, originally it was found here... You just have to click through and sign up using your email addy

Almost sounds like there's 2 tracks for the vocals and the crowd seems to come in very abrupt in the end :S
