Yes, it is. I think someone said Omar dropped a few off in the LA Amoebas himself or something.

yeah, this is a pretty good album. coma pony reminds me alot of joe satriani's songs.
Omar's playing is also pretty damn good (as usual)

Its a fantastic album, I think my fave tracks are Chariots, Knee Deep, Jacob II, Sparked from the Insult List, and Coma Pony.

Fuerza and Apocalypse are still fucking amazing, but more Vodelpark type of "I love it" than like Jacob or Chariots.

kinda agree with sheffs initial point about it all kinda sounding the same, but they also are each totally diff..

thank god for omar that he has juan, and that hes cool with playing one bassline in each song for 10mins a piece!! id prob shoot myself in the head

i really like coma pony, alot actually...and i like jvII, but not untill it really gets going with mm, and adrian going off around half way through the song..knee deep is cool to..pretty cool album it helps tide me over till TBIG

I'm enjoying it a lot but I'd but it's pretty much on par with Se Dice for me. A lot of talent on show though, very impressive!

Just Beautiful!
Anyone know if Frusciante plays anything?
I hear some Frusciante influence with Omar, if he's not.

im half in half. as in i feel that half of the album is fukin mind crazy while the other half is just plain unlistenable. let me satrt with the good side. i think coma pony is the best song on this cd. thats my honet opinon. well its atleats my favorite. then comes melting chraiots nd jacob2. melting chariots is nothing new(cuz i heard it like a kajillion times already lulz) but jacob was hard at first listen but 2nd time around it was amazing. sparked is laso really good. but songs like feurzo, knee, apocolypse, and baby fat i just cant listen to it. rite about now ive listened to this albumn alot but i just cant get into these songs. they are just annoying and messed up. apocolypse defenitley isnt close to living up to its title. i thought it wud be the best song on the cd like sce bisonte was. but its just noise. its 8 minutes of niose that i dont like. fuerzo is just w/e. and knee deep is just i dont want to listen to this anymor. and hwo the fuk said knee was better than rapid fire tollbooth. i totally disagree with that. i was a buit dissapointed but really unexpected some of the stuff on it. idk. sce dice was much more warmer and easy to listen to. this is just idk. AMD FTW!!!!!!!

When the sax kicks into that mellow groove in Coma Pony (Apprx. 2:57 ) is amazing. Can anyone compare this kind of smooth bluesy sax playing to another artists style? I have tons of jazz so I may have some of the recc. but I can't recall offhand some similar players. It's just that really smooth, without the bop kind of playing like some Mingus or Dolphy (hopefully I am explaining myself well enough :S). There aren't any little freakouts or anything, it's just really smooth (for lack of a better term). It reminds me of parts of Jan Garbarek. Please help me jazz folks :D

I listened to Se Dice and this both today and i have to say, Omar you are a genius and you've done it again. I really don't wanna say anything about this album until i get my vinyl copy and can listen to a clean version without the bleeps.

So the vinyls are clear? They originally said it would be on white vinyl... can't remember where I read that. Maybe it means clear white, in the vein of "Please Heat This Eventually" on clear blue.

I like the comparison to bitches brew. I felt the same thing. I liken the experience to what it must be like to have omar jack off and jizz in your ear for an hour.
