Anyone hear anything from this band? They just released their debut album "Perils" this year and from what I've heard it's incredible. I very strongly urge everyone to check them out.

http://www.webofmimi...php?band=miasma has a couple short clips from the album.

I'm really looking forward to hearing the album. Really cool band..

"In keeping with Mimicry tradition, their music can only be compared to many artists at once: in this case Angelo Badalamenti, Astor Piazzolla, Goblin, Art Bears, Burzum, Tom Waits, Antioch Arrow, King Crimson, Bach and Univers Zero."

Not a bad one in the bunch.

Also on the mimicry site, The Tuna Helpers and ASVA just had releases as well, both as fancy as this one

From reading that quote, I think I'm interested.

Oh you should be interested!

I ordered a copy of the album the other day... I can't wait for it to get here. Asva and The Tuna Helpers both sound really good as well. I've only heard The Tuna Helpers clips that are on Mimicry, but they sound really good.

Futurists Against the Ocean is a very good album. I think Perils is going to be my favorite of the pack though... it sounds amazing. All in all, this should really be a good year for Mimicry releases.

So I got lucky and stumbled across a copy of I'll Have what She's Having (The Tuna Helpers) and it's just grand. Another Mimicry release, another recommendation.

I have Asva and The Tuna Helpers on soulseek... still waiting to get my copy of Miasma.

I added you to my list, but I can't seem to connect to you. Are there any other ways I can get you the files?

If you try to browse my files and you get "Error Trying to get list", there's not a whole lot we can do. If you get "No Files Shared", it's probably because I don't have you on my userlist. (Hopefully the second one, then I can just add you and we'll be all fine and whatnot)

Other than that, there's always http://www.yousendit.com

Zip up each album, upload it using your own email address, and post the link. That'd probably be better anyhow, seeing as then you upload it once for several people's use instead of getting swarmed on soulseek.

^ The Tuna Helpers. Enjoy.

Asva I haven't put up yet, but it's available on indie torrents. If you can't get it just let me know and I'll zip it up for you.

And for the record... yea it was the dreaded "error trying to get list/info."
