Re using OLRG riffs is not inspiration or stealing.

I think this list will be more interesting if we stick to compiling riffs/stuff by other artists and not stuff ORL has already done.

I clearly remember someone on this board mentioning how this song probably influenced Cassandra, it turned me onto this song and onto the Rollins Band!

I'd say there's a similarity. Not the exact same riff but thee feel of it is similar!

This is fucking ridiculous of course any song is doomed to in one way or another remind of another.

I agree with the person who said Goliath was 21st century schizoid man, also el ciervo vulnerado sounds alot like a song off  the collaboration album between Santana and John Mcluaghin

also the "ooooooooooooooooohs" From day of the baphomets is either sampled right from YES or made to sound just like it. its four people harmonizing and its exactly the same and same length, i wouldnt be surprised if it was a sample

also i think its hilarious how people get mad at bands when they sound like TMV, but TMV sounds just like omar and cedrics favorite bands and no one gets annoyed at that. The truth is We play the type of music that inspired us. I started listening to TMV 9 years ago and theyve been my favorite band ever since, Ive been playing music for ten years since I was 14. Its only natural that youre inspired by the what you grow up on

Definitely not a sample.

The guitar at 1.50 strongly made me think of an Omar line, not sure wich one though. Maybe there isn't one.
