Marfred AND Marcel are in the band. I guess Marcel is in it during the downtime of The Mars Volta... whenever that is. I just bought their live recording called 34:26.. the sample on the myspace was killer. I will let everyone know if its any good. Only $5.50.

I should have said omer's other brother. He kind of looks like a cross between omer and marcel. Freaky.
But yeah I've had them on my myspace friends for a while and they've had some pretty funky stuff on it.

They're playing in LA at the Smell with Free Moral Agents. I'm really looking forward to that show.

If this band ever breaks up, i hope some of the members make a band called Milliardo Peacecraft
but anyway,

I enjoyed it very much. But no singer? would be great if it had some singing.

I live in El paso and pretty much watch these guys everytime they play. They're a pretty cohesive band with a good feel, and I think singing would totally mess up their flow.

I actually might play with them in the future(not in the band, but at one of their shows with my band).

Jealous much.

Oh how i wish i was an El Paso local so i can see them *sulks*

Band Bio for Zechs Marquise

Not everyone understands just what music is all about, what writing and harmonizing really consists of, and what it means to wait patiently for success and giving up the socially accepted ways of living for true success. One can see just how a band should work together to look and sound as though they have been in the business for decades when watching Zechs Marquise play live. This band combines all types of different sounds and instruments to create an ambiance few have heard since bands like Yes, Pink Floyd and King Crimson hit the scene in earlier years
Zechs Marquise formed in the fall of 2003 going by the name of Monolith, and they played their first show in spring of 2004. Since then the band has been creating a stir in their hometown of El Paso, TX. With their energetic and always evolving live performances the band brings the listener along with them on their journey. Utilizing the live elements of jazz improv, and applying them to rock, the listener is transposed from the audio aspects of music to the visual. As proclaimed by Crystal Robert, booker and promoter of The T-Lounge, “a fusion of senses resulting in a unique and psycadellic rock experience.”
Over the course of two years members Michael Farraro on drums, Marfred Rodriguez-Lopez on bass, and Matt Wilkson and Marcos Smith on guitar, have had the honor to play with band such as, The Album Leaf, The Roots of Orchis, Oh my God, Seneca, and Metaron/Art Lewis, just to name a few. They have recently been recording their first album under the guidance and helpful hand of two-time Grammy nominee Vavy Lozano at CPAM studios.
Zechs plans to tour in the near future to promote their up and coming album with high hopes that others will find what so many have found in their music, true enthusiasm passion, and inventiveness.

I must say that the two songs are really amazing, can't wait to see them with free moral agents in october!

No lyrics but wussup with this lil Cedric style exerp
"Hands claw helplessly at the shifting ends of its mercury tentacle. To the wrist his arm has passed deep into the flood, melting. His curious veins welcome its oscillating pursuit. Inside flesh is stretched across soldered thrones. Plucked by the shadows of four creatures consumed before he. Creatures adorned in wire masks hunt as appendages of this graceful machine, hunter of centuries. The shadows chant an electric lullaby of demise, versed through sounds and rhythms. The speech is a compound voice; sharp and fluid. Passing translucent to the next prey. He has become itcan you hear the beck on pulse?"

I could totally see him spittin this.

And wussup with Marcel in the pix tryina play keys??

"Err'body wanna be like Ikey, but then nobody wanna be like Ikey"
