its really silly how omar's solo stuff stays in the mars volta section but the other members are moved to mumbling

yup, I couldn't believe what I was hearing live, I was expecting some stuff to sound like what he was doing with his first album, but nope. They filmed the second show I saw in December, so hopefully that gets released.

The Honey in the Carcas of the Lion is his follow up to Everybody's Favorite Weapom
two full lengths so close to eachother?
on their myspace it says the new direction is because their slam poet, J, left. and i know ikey wanted to so something more live-oriented as opposed to pre-programmed beats
i can upload the Lay Down EP later
