I'm assuming it has Teri because he mentioned singing in the interview.

Probably Teri but I don't think Omar knew her before 2010 or 11.

Middle eastern Omar ? By far the most exciting for me. Probably made in 2008.

i'm positive it's later than that, probably 2011 after he broke up with ximena. i wouldn't be surprised if it had some samples from the jerusalem trip in 2007 though

TSH: And you also like sampling Indian music and improvising crazy melodies over Indian music with your voice…

Teri: This is inspired by the work and motivation of Omar, to try new things and to explore the endless possibilities that one can do with sampling. Since I am blessed to be surrounded by many, many composers, writers, engineers it would be foolish of me not to try and learn something from it all. My mother loves Indian music, so when I was little I had the fortune of being in an environment of spices and Middle Eastern music. Omar and I worked on an album where it’s just Indian music, samples turned into neatly crafted hymns with some Spanish lyrics, some others are English lyrics… At the end of the day it’s always great to try new things for one self. Who knows, maybe someday we’ll release it.

I don't have the image or anything but there definitely was a cover in Telesterion along with Infinity Drips that had an Indian title, started with a B, feel like that's more likely to be what she's talking about there

Yeah and it could be released eventually.

I feel like the reviewer would have mentioned Teri since he talks about who's on vocals with each release.

It's possible it was that album originally but the title was switched to Infinity Drips.  Who knows.  Pretty sure Teri is on this album though because he said it has vocals but said it's not Omar or Cedric.  But feel free to ask him on his post in the facebook group and he will probably answer.

K but why would he say it's not Omar and Cedric instead of just saying "it's Teri". Is it not any of them??

Those covers in the Telesterion booklet had the Infinity Drips cover from Sonny though. So it's possible he made a few middle-eastern sounding records around this period.

He said previously (before the review was up I think) that Cedric wasn't on any of the next four albums.  And then when he posted the review I asked him if Omar sang on El Bien or Infinity Drips and he said El Bien yes Infinity Drips no.  So it's not like he was purposely avoiding mentioning Teri, it's just because of the way the questions were asked.

OK thanks. Makes sense now. So it's probably the album Teri was talking about. The other one from the Telesterion booklet, if it even has middle-eastern sounds is either coming as some point (maybe with different artwork?) or it's simply not going to be released for a very long time. If not, ever. Maybe that one was just one of his instrumental experimental albums that Ipecac decided not to fuck with.

are we assuming that arybhatiya was the 'middle eastern' album based on name alone?  C'mon now.

I do assume, however, that each of those albums in the telesterion book are now being released in this block under different names unless proven otherwise.

I also am assuming they've been changed since then.

Matt said this about Teri being on Infinity Drips

Yes, she wrote the lyrics and sings on both Cell Phone Bikini and Infinity Drips, however, vocals on Infinity Drips are not really the main focus.
