haha coincidentally started listening to this and you're right. Couldn't clear the beatles sample?

If you switch to the ipecac version on Spotify, its still there

he uses some violin from meeting of the spirits in pineapple face, there's an old video of him doing it at a technoself show someone posted a while back, might be in this thread even

Yeah I imagine the new label couldn’t get the rights for that sample. Hope it doesn’t disappear, one of my favorite solo songs of his.

Damn! Pineapple Face is one of my favorites off of SV, and I've listened to that first Mahavishnu record at least a hundred times - still somehow never made the connection. But it explains why SV really caught my ear when it dropped.
