I'm really interested in what 2012 toned down "acoustic pop" Omar will be. 2009, we've got an idea of it considering we had Octahedron and airy ambient things like Solar Gambling. It was very melodic. We'll see in a short two weeks

I feel like that was a track he just recorded on the spot and put online to celebrate the reunion with Cedric, and perhaps mark the parting of Cathy? If you recall, everything had been deleted from his bandcamp and replaced with just the one recording, which was clearly done on like some home tape recorder and an acoustic guitar, Cobaine-demo style.

This is theoretically the first solo album with a release date to anticipated in quite some time, given that pretty much all the last solo albums were surprise released and SV was leaked... feels like 09 again

The album length is 34:52 according to the itunes.
The version of sea is rising is almost 40 seconds shorter than the USM one. It's 2:47 instead of 3:20 so definitly a different version

I actually like Running Away a lot.. if this is what the album will sound like I'm really excited.  Sort of has a MGMT vibe (congratulations era).
