I don't have the vinyl. Are the musicians listed anywhere? I'd be interested to see full photos and that.

they are for each, it doesnt feel like a real ORL release because of that. i think there are pics of everything on discogs
haha doesn't feel like an Omar release because there are actual credits. What a glowing endorsement.
well here's another, part 3 still not on YouTube so it's slightly more classic Omar now

That's not a bad price for a collector. Having said that I would rather spend 45 bucks on Megaritual which I am missing in my collection :(

Does anyone here regularly listen to these? I dont know what to make of them 8 months later. They're a good set, and not "bad" but they can't keep my attention, especially tape 3. It feels like a nice companion piece and collectors item, but not much more.

The Roman Lips songs and Arcos del Amor are the best tracks here. Imo if the same band re recorded the entirety of Roman Lips that would be an excellent record.

I only listen to the second disc. It's got a nice lounge feel to it.

Got the tracks along most of Omar works on an usb stick in my car. Everytime one of these plays, I get disappointed that it's not the original. Most of the time, I change song before the CHT song ends. So no, definetely not a piece of work I'll keep memories of.

With most of omar's music, when my friends come over and it's playing they'd at least be intrigued and asked what the hell is this crazy shit. Even shit like doom patrol, though i can't stand it at all , to an uninformed accidental listener is at least intruiging weirdness.

With the clouds hill tapes all I've heard my friends ask about it is "what is this bland crap"

I listened to all three parts on Spotify on the respective release dates. I have not revisited them once, even with the vinyl boxset sitting in my living room. There really isn't a better word than "bland" for describing it.

yeah i'd use bland, a lot of people on here called it a "covers album" which is super harsh but also...its got that vibe
