i have 2 awesome video performances of jon performing with golden and HIM, they are both fucking awesome, the one with HIM hes playing with another drummer, which sounds fuckin sweet, also there is some very good guitar work in both performances along with some amazing horn work

I used to have the Golden Summer album. Took me a long time to get it off of Soulseek.

I deleted it because it was very, very annoying to listen too. It had some kickass songs on it. But there too many 9 minute solos that didn't go anywhere.

are these videos you got from "the empty bottle" - chicago? if they are i got them as well. i personally like golden a lot. i found all their albums original on ebay and amazon(german) although its hard too find them sometimes. well i finally got them.

Jon theodore, oddly enough, also played drums on a couple Royal Trux records. i love the royal trux when im in that, "going to get fucked up and wonder why im listening to the royal trux" but the whole time be thinking"man this is the shit, why didnt these guys get more attention?" Just plain weird to me.

he also played in a band called trans am. i have a trans am cd and its pretty cool stuff. its like dance type techno rock. sounds corny but its pretty cool stuff

HiM is a great band, with or without Jon Theodore. Much better than Golden, in my opinion.

They're very rooted in blues music and get creamy guitar tones. The Album "Super Golden Original Movement" is all instrumental while the latter two "Summer" and "Apollo Stars" threw in some not so amazing lyrics from a singer with good delivery. They're a lot of fun to listen to.

How about The Fucking Am? Jon did a record with the Fucking Champs while he was in Trans Am (the two bands came together to make 1 cd). I swear to God I heard their song "The Gauntlet" on a TV comercial.
