From Shitfork.com

Packing in 14 new jams and split down the middle into two "acts", Offend Maggie arrives October 7 via Deerhoof's longtime label home, Kill Rock Stars.

Deerhoof fans will delight in knowing they'll soon have access to the written score to an as-yet-unspecified new number off Offend. The downloadable score will appear on some kind of interactive website Deerhoof are cooking up, and fans will have the opportunity to record their interpretations of it and upload them to the site.

I'm so excited, these guys keep getting better and better.

I didnt think they could make something better than Runners Four and Friend Opportunity and then they come out with this and blow those away. It seems like a perfect melding of
the two previous cds---the experimentalism of Runners Four with the pop sensibilities of Friend Opportunity.

I am kinda surprised here, but I'm really liking a lot of this. Never would have figured that with their vocal style, but I guess I try to never assume anything.

Deerhoof Vs. Evil is what hooked me.
Some of their other albums can generally be a little too avant-garde for my taste.
Vs. Evil is where the catchy is at.

I would say download their free live album from the website and check out the albums with the songs you like best. That's what I'm in the process of doing.
