Pez is a rock band from Argentina formed in 1993

You can find info about their records here if you want to download some of them (I recommend you Los Orfebres if you want something closer to TMV, Convivencia Sagrada or El Sol Detras Del Sol if you like jazz fusion, any of their first 3 albums if you like raw rock music, and Hoy if you prefer something more folk oriented) http://es.wikipedia....iki/Pez_(banda)

Their sound varies as much as TMV's from album to album, though lately they have been focusing in different sides of classic rock subgenres

All their albums in 320kbps: http://www.pezdebuen...om.ar/audio.htm

1994 - Cabeza
1996 Quemado
1998 Pez
2000 Frágilinvencible
2001 - Convivencia sagrada
2002 - El sol detrás del sol
2004 - Folklore
2005 - Para las almas sensibles
2006 - Hoy
2007 - Los orfebres
2008 - Sesion De Espiritismo

2011 - Volviendo a las cavernas

2013 - Psicodelicia
2014 - El Manto Eléctrico
2016 - Rock Nacional
2017 - Pelea Al Horror

Thanx, I just finished listening to Frgilinvencible and I loved it.

I'll try and find other albums, but it doesn't seem an easy task. A lot of links have expired

thanks alot for mentioning them in a different topic Dandelion_volta, these guys are awesome, I've been listening to them alot. One of the best bands ive heard from Argentina's Rock Nacional.
Very versatile band, prolific, and out of the 7 albums theyve done since 2000, 5 of them i think are excellent from begining to end.

I can't say enough good of this band people have to hear for themselves:

2001-04-18 C.C. San Martin, Buenos Aires, Argentina

2000-2004 Radio Rock & Pop

Wow, I've listened to over 300 new (to me) bands in the last 12 months, like a junkie trying to find anything that comes close to getting me as high as TMV. This band and Can are at the top of my list. I think I will be spending some significant time on taringa today and tomorrow.

Thanks!!

haha, man i've been up to pretty much the same thing with the same results. I'll post some CAN boots later.

for Pez LP's i'd recommend starting with Fragilinvincible, Convivencia Sagrada and los Orfebres
3 excellent albums and also characteristic of the different formations of the band. Like TMV they've switched the formula around abit.

by the way if anyone finds the boots i posted in better bitrate, let me know, its the best i could find.

I'm starting off with los Orfebres, and I knew as soon as I saw that Jodorowsky reference that I was in the right place. :)

Some songs added

Spuistraat 249 / Ultimo Acto:
El Viaje:
Creo Que Amamos El Dolor:
El Refugio: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHb6ZSK3YFI
Los Orfebres: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ujRDWn30os

They'll be presenting their next album on april 17th after 2009's "El Porvenir", last record had a little punk influence but given that they change a lot between one album and another I don't know what to expect

Having heard El Porvenir a lot of times recently I can say that their new album is even more "direct" than El Porvenir, the songs have a lot less arrangements and there's a stronger punk influence. The production is also different, the guitars don't sound as powerful as before, at least for me.
