Whenever I've heard Clapton, in any incarnation, be it Cream, Derek & the Dominos, Yardbirds, or his solo stuff I really do find myself enjoying it thoroughly. But I don't have any of his music on my own HD and I was wondering, where the hell should I start? I love blues guitar and everything he's done with that, but I would love to know where to find some serious Psychedelic raw shit or some gritty blues material, if it is out there.

You guys seem to be really good as to which door to walk in through so to speak when dealing with artists you guys are knowledgeable of and better yet fans of. Anything will help.

Gracias, bitches.

It's hard to go wrong. 461 Ocean Boulevard's probably my favorite of his solo albums, but you should have ALL of Cream on hand at all times and the Blind Faith album, too.

this
and I love the Blind Faith album

don't be discouraged about getting all of the Cream studio albums, there's only four lol: Fresh Cream, Disraeli Gears, Wheels of Fire, and Goodbye
but I personally think that Cream is better live, so check out their Royal Albert Hall DVD as well, it's awesome stuff
Jack Bruce is such an awesome bassist; all of them are great musicians of course but bass being the first instrument I learned and the instrument I'm best at, I see something much more in Jack than the rest
