Kid A still has me reeling. I love it.

Hail to the Thief and OK Computer are solid but nothing really too special in my eyes. All of the post-Bends albums are good to put on but only Kid A consistenly gets in the player.

yes, KidA is like, the greatest album ever.

It's just so amazing. There's nothing like it. You can compare it to other bands that use a computer, but have live drums and vocals (M83, Mouse on Mars) but its just not the same...

for me, The Bends and Kid A. The other stuff is overrated.

Are people refering to the booklet that's hidden behind the back plate of the cd case? I have that in my copy and everybody else I know who has it lacks that hidden booklet thingy. If anyobdy doesnt know, it's some drawings and poetry/lyrics and stuff.

It was only included in the first so many copies of Kid A. I'm not sure of the exact number. I remember I was blown away when I found that booklet. I t'ohly didn't expect it. I started reading it like constantly, and I even wrote a song with some of the lines from that booklet.

'motion picture soundrack' is the only track that has ever made me cry, masterpiece. Nelly Hoopers remix of 'Talk Show Host' is their greatest track by far.

My favourite album's Kid A. Being my favourite band, I couldn't possibly name just one or two tracks, I'll go album by album:

Pablo Honey - Anyone Can Play Guitar
The Bends - Fake Plastic Trees
OK Computer - Climbing Up The Walls
Kid A - The National Anthem, How to Disappear Completely
Amnesiac - Dollars and Cents, Life In A Glasshouse
Hail To The Thief - Where I End And You Begin, The Gloaming
B-Sides - Fog, Where Bluebirds Fly, Killers Cars, Melatonin

Really, that was also limited? Weird. Well, my old copy has that 'hidden' booklet and I don't know anyone without it. But since I saw the book version for 10 I just had to get that, too.

some of you guys are really hard to please (not neccessarily a bad thing). i take it a lot of you are from US. back in old england i'm not a massive fan, but i still love pretty much everything they've done (haven't heard pablo) - so you can imagine what people who do call themselves big fans are like.

also i, personally, don't think they are overrated (but as i said i'm from england and people tend to just accept their genius without any 'rating' at all)

favourite song...... probably paranoid android - but it's a very tough choice.

Radiohead are my favourite band. I just love them to death. I haven't come across a band where the evolution in their music is so present and consistant.

It's a shame people find it hard to get into their stuff after The Bends as it's not as guitar bassed and "rocky". Hail to the thief is a culmination of their previous 4 albums IMO, so it's more accesible, where Kid A and Amnesiac, if you're not into your samples and stuff, will just blag your head. Kid A completely threw me when I 1st listened to it. Loved it, and I'ts one of my fave albums, but it IS hard to listen to at 1st.

It's all about Kid A.

The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of All Time is worth checking out too.
Lo-fi.
