Great job, Dandelion! :)

I made just a little correction because Please Heat This Eventually came out in 2006. ;)

Also, there should be a topic about Omar/Frusciante single on GSL and maybe it should linked as well but given that those 2 songs have been released even on "ORL & JF" album, maybe it's not that relevant.

Yeah that's why I didn't include it. I didn't consider it a solo album either.

nice man, I use the same order on my thread and wikipedia pages, though the numbers are off since I DO include the "0=2" single :)

Can't help it, it was a huge deal at the time, and I guess I still make it a big deal since I feel lucky to own a copy.

Speaking about that RLP needs a new web guy, I miss when they uploaded the digital booklets, and the site is almost abandoned now... too bad I still got some years left before I finish my career haha

Cathy said he was looking for someone to work on the site

I got a question for all of you Omarheads (like myself).

In whatever music player you use - do you tag all of his stuff as one name (Omar Rodriguez Lopez for instance) or do you go by whatever group name he releases the albums as?

I know this is so nerdcore, but I'm insanely anal about my 200gb library/last.fm scrobbling and was wondering how everyone else has it setup.

I just have it all under 'Omar Rodriguez-Lopez'. Originally I did have Cryptomnesia under the El Grupo name but it irritated me that it was off in a separate place.

That's what I'm thinking of doing. Even the hyphenated Rodriguez Lopez drives me nuts, since in most of this own stuff (Facebook, etc) it's not hyphenated.

Grrrrr.

Yeah, I've noticed that he hasn't used the hyphen as much lately (either that or I just imagined he used it all the time a few years back).

I used to also be really anal about this stuff as well but it was actually Omar that forced me to mellow a bit. It was either that or lose the ability to navigate my mp3 player forever.

At the moment it's all by what appears on the cover (though surname first for sorting), except for A Manual Dexterity which I simplified from Omar A. Rodriguez-Lopez to just Rodriguez Lopez, Omar like everything else. However while pondering this same problem I came up with changing all the album artists to him and then keeping the individual track artist as whatever he released it under, which I think is a nice compromise. Yet to decide if I will though.
