I liked it, but it didn't make a huge impression on me.

And thanks to whoever said the album cover looks like D is getting a blowjob; I'll never unsee that now.

Considering the title, it's amazing to look back on it and realize it's very subliminal.

It's as though the title could have been, "Suck it, but no teeth."

Touch But Don't Look is a magical album, I love it so much! I love the vibes of the different songs, and how each song is so unique in the style of energy they portray and develop! Each and every song, has amazing samples, melodies, beats, I absolutely love this album. Reminds me of falling in Love! Beautiful music, absolutely positively perfect! Deantoni Parks is a miraculous musician!

Really nice tracks, those two. Is that DP with somebody else or something?

All the credits say is that the music's by DP and the imagery is by Bruno Levy. Really hoping there's more of these.

Oh that's sweet. Yeah they're definitely a good followup to LBDT. I want more DP dammit (feel free to quote out of context).

Deantoni played on the GTA V soundtrack, and here's a pretty interesting article detailing the process: http://www.polygon.c...a-5s-soundscape

Sounds pretty awesome, but I still haven't played the game, so maybe people who have can verify if it is...

I was checking vinyls at the records store today and found the album "Shades Of Gray" by the Gray which I knew it was Jean Michel Basquiat band (the title is refered to the Henry Gray's "Gray's  Anatomy"book which influenced his art), Vincent Gallo was part of the band too at one point. Well, looks like the album as been sort or reworked, I checked the credits list on the back of the sleeve and one of the musicians names is Deantoni (I don't think he was that old during the late 70's, the band formed around that time) which plays on four of the tracks of the album, more at http://plushsaferecords.com/ and http://www.brooklynv...michel_bas.html, check the album credits a found through Barnes and Nobles site:

According to Wikipedia, he was born in 1977, which puts him at like a year and a half when this would have been recorded. I mean it says he was playing drums by age 5, but that still seems a little young. But Wikipedia lists an unreleased 1979 Gray album in his discography. What are the drums like on the tracks he's featured on?

I think he and Nicci remixed some tracks or something.

Yeah, they went back and he played over tracks Basquiat had recorded. The whole Downtown '81 scene was a little before his time haha.

The reference to Vincent Gallo means that Deantoni and Vincent have a mutual friend in John Frusciante. I would really like see a collab between D and John. John's new stuff is awesome, but, rhythmically, it is kind of plain. I think a pairing between John's otherworldly harmonic sensibilities and D's drum style could result in ridiculously amazing music.
