Johann Scheerer from Clouds Hill recently posted in the #marsvolta2019 FB Group to let people know they restocked on the ORL/Faust + Bosnian Rainbows Live at Clouds Hill 10”s..... I took the opportunity to ask if he had any updates on the ORLG album he recorded recently. He said (1)- he’s mixing it rn, but it won’t come out this year bc (2)- a different ORL album is coming out this year, and the record he’s currently working on will come out sometime after. Could this be the long lost Ipecac album #24? So I guess the plan is for a couple new ORL records to be released in the near future, but you never really know with Omar these days...
Thanks so much, finally ordered them both, essentially completing my vinyl Omar collection apart from De Facto (pre-obsession beginning 2005)

damn I had no idea it was an American Dad reference. I just thought it was a cool phrase ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Omar can do all the crazy, weird, scummy shit he wants and I'll still listen. an American Dad reference for an album though was the first time I've been ready to walk away haha. i was so glad when it was revealed that those titles were BS even though scrapyard handshakes was coolI'll be pissed if he doesn't end up using that title for anything
reganomics lamborghini im ready

it's like my favourite lounge rock album from the 70s that never existed, the album van morisson wishes he could've made.

I'm totally on board the 'Ensayo is meh' train. I mean, it's ok – it's like one of those radio session things where you play the album live and it goes out on air. Different feel, but only the hippies are going to listen to that (out of their camper vans, cooking lukewarm mush) over the proper album. Sorry.
