Cortez the Killer, best song ever

Zuma is one of the greatest albums I've heard.

No no no tomatoes. I love Heart of Gold. Its my favorite Neil Young song. It gives me a feeling inside when I hear the harmonica.

I saw Neil Young playing on TV last fall at Farm Aid 2003....interesting.

Neil Young is the single greatest rock artist of the last 50 years.
He is an amazing songwriter.
An amazing guitar player.
Crazyhorse is one of the loudest/hardest/most skilled bands out there.
He has never once done anything to compromise his artistic integrity.
He is infinitely influential.
He is a good kind soul who has had a challenging life.

Old Man, Out On The Weekend, Heart Of Gold, I Am A Child, Crime In The City, Differently, Silver and Gold, Tonight's The Night, Wrecking Ball, Act Of Love, I'm The Ocean, Cowgirl In The Sand, Unknown Legend, Mellow My Mind, Sleeps With Angels, Down By The River, Razor Love, Transformer Man, Everybody Knows This is Nowhere, Change YOur Mind, Fuckin' Up, plus all the "hits" (RitFW, Harvest Moon, etc.)

Most artists can only dream of writing ONE song as good as any one of those, he has created dozens of songs of such a caliber.
The praise for him should far surpass that for Zepplin, Dylan, Hendrix, Cobain. . .anyone. He has spent a life time making expemplary music consistantly. Even his worst shit was still beautiful because he loved it.

As long as people know who Neil is then rock and roll can never die because he is the opitomy of everything that rock is and should be.

I never cried, not once after 9/11 I was just dumbstruck and couldn't wrap my mind around the whole thing. Then I heard Neil's sad voice singing "Imagine" and I just fell apart. The man is so human that he seems godlike.

It's a shame 'cause I am in the mood, but I gotta go take some finals.
I'll spare you a definition of "ignore".
