I just saw Rush in concert and was awestruck by the performance. I was like a deer starting into headlights at the entire show.

I'm a fan of Rush, but sorry, no, you can't say any single band is the greatest band ever. Music is a very individual thing, and you're only one person with the opinion that Rush is the greatest band in the world. Others may be in agreement, but nonetheless, such a statement is pompous and ignorant. Sorry to be blunt.
