Yeah... I saw Smoke & Smoke open for We Ragazzi. The were really drunk and loud. After every song, the drummer would point to the vocalist and scream "VOCALS!!!". Then, during the songs, the singer would just scream the same thing over and over again. One time he was climbing on the monitors and fell off and almost impaled himself on his mic stand.
Of all the bands with beards I've seen, they probably had the coolest.

yeah, he fell on me in the front row and i had to help him up...i kinda thought it was at least a partial drunken act, and hear he did basically the same thing when you saw him makes me think it's normal (whether it's really that drunken or not)...he was the singer of murder city devils, too...i talked to the bassist after the show, and he was really cool, too...knew a shit load about basses and talked about he couldn't play drums

the room started filling out and we stood up to get to the front and then what can only be described as the best gig of my life took place!!! There was no stage, all the amps were taking that up. The drum kit was facing sideways and the bassist was spinning and thrusting his bass towards the kit. The drummer was absolutely mental and frantic, and still could belt out the lyrics amazingly. The sound was deafening, but it was so in your face and intimate that it was unbelievable. I mean I could have reached out and touched the bass player. As there was two of them, when they wanted the synth playing at the same time they pegged down the keys so it ran in the background of the song. When they wanted to talk to the audience, the bassist, flicked a switch on the bass and screamed into the strings which gave off a radio robot kind of sound. It was amazing, so personal and intimate and absolutely free!!! some one go and watch this band!! BEST GIG OF MY LIFE!

does smoke and smoke have anything online like a website or music or anything? i know nothing about them outside of seeing them open for les savy fav...i just can't find a damn thing about them anywhereYes, I'm definitely loving the whole drum and bass explosions bit. I like the off-time math bit in Smoke and Smoke, but I don't like the vocals as much as in Death from above.
