Anyone else on this board fans of Pearl Jam? I saw them last night at the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ and had a great time.

I heard that Sparta and the Buzzcocks were openers on different legs of the tour. Either of those would have made for a kickass show.

I don't mind Pearl Jam. Their two of mates favourite band, so I go out of my way to mock them and shit, but I really like vs. I'm hating Riot Act though.

I didn't think Riot Act was that bad. Easily better than Yield and Binaural.

For me it goes -

Ten
Vs
No Code
Vitalogy
Riot Act
Yield
Binaural

the only album i like is the one with the ram/sheep thing on the frount.

also i thought that they were never going to tour again after the deaths of those fans at one of their concerts?

yea, i saw them April 28th in Philly when Sparta opened for them, that was a better show i think than the one 2 nights ago.

The buzzcocks opened the other night though, they were fun.

My list of PJ albums goes as follows:

Vs.
Vitalogy
No Code
Ten
Binaural
Yield
Riot Act

It's tough to choose them though, i love them all.

Well, they were thinking about it, but now, when they tour, it is all seating (except for lawns at ampitheatres) no general admission.

I think Ten's a lot better than Nevermind. It did outsell Nevermind, but it's not remembered as much culturally. It's pretty anthemic, and consistent...some of the singles like Jeremy and Alive are actually among my least favorite tracks on the album. I don't like the hair metal shredding so much, but I can tolerate it I guess...I'm one of those people who've listened to Ten and that's about it, so I can't say much about their other albums.
Do the Evolution was a sweet video though, it's what first came to mind when I heard TMV was doing an animated Televators.

Good band. Good lyrics, good singer, good guitarist (Mike).
'Ten' is still one of my favourite albums ever. A hell lot better than Nirvana's 'Nevermind'... I love the way it sounds (almost like a live album)... Some of the songs are very important to me.
That's all I can say.
