I've seen a lot of people who hate Dillinger on The Comatorium, and I just wanted to know why. Everyone just say, 'They just suck balls' or 'I can't even understand what he's yelling' but what is the real reason? Just give an actual explanation.

I think for the most part it would just be the usual suspects: abrasiveness, screaming, and so forth. I think if you just accept it as the kind of music it is, then you'll discover an absolutely amazing band. Miss Machine fully re-invigorated my appreciation for them, which waned after Calculating Infinity. I've seen them twice and I'll also say that they are a terrific live band.

if you dont like the vocals, you just gotta look past the screaming and try and aprreciate them as musicians, thats what I did and I like them a lot. It just takes time to get used to this band

i'm a dilinger fan as well, and i tend to not like screamy stuff. the music/musicianship is what drew me in. the drummer, man...he's just awesome. and i don't know about you, but when i see him play, i just don't see how he pulls all that fast stuff off.

I had heard about them once so I checked out the website and listened to some of their songs. I think they are really talented as musicians but I really dont like screaming it just gets annoying. BUt I listened to "Babie's First Coffin" and about 2 minutes into the song when he sings normal and the song mellows out I absolutley love it, its worthy enduring the screaming just to hear that part. If they made more mellow mucis man that would be amazing.

i heard them for the first time last friday and i liked them. i agree with the people who say the vocals may be annoying, because that was the only thing that i thought was meh, but everything else was awesome, im definitely checking them out more thoroughly (sp?)

if you like DEP, you should get some Converge. some of their stuff can be a little more acceptable then DEP. still, both are two amazing bands.

They are far from the loudest band I've ever heard.
