There's a new directors cut on the DVD. It's full of computer graphics. Ignore it and watch the original concert film if you can.

I wish people would just leave stuff alone sometimes.

Not sure about the Cedric screaming bit. You will hear TMV influences I'm sure.

The whole fucking gig justs works.

At the time this was real experimental stuff and Floyd have never topped it in my opinion. I dont think they had recorded meddle at this time so these tunes we fresh.

Echoes part 2 - when the tune starts to pick up and Nick Mason starts on the cymbals and the sound just keeps building and building. Fucking brilliant!

One of These Days.......

Thats Roger Waters. And it is the same type of scream that Cedric does live. Not like his yelling in At the Drive in.

yeah I have that DVD and I must say, it's probably my favorite DVD that I own. Someone else said it, but you should stick with the original film. The only good thing about the director's cut are the interviews and segments of them recording Dark Side between songs. Gilmour's quote is classic - "People think of us as a drug related band. Of course we're not, you can trust us" and then that ridiculous, obviously drugged up smile of his. Both parts Echoes are some of the greatest live music ever recorded, and songs like Careful with that Axe, One of These Days, and A Saucerful of Secrets are all awesome. Saucerful seems like it would be a trip to watch while tripping on something.
