So, I'm listening to Peking O right now.
Can are awesome.
Tago Mago has to be one of the best albums ever. So so so trippy.
I can see some influences of the lead singer's eloquences on Cedric's improvisations live.
And my favourite song has to be Mushroom.
Thank you, babes, for introducing me to this wonderful band.

Discuss.

No it isn't.
Just be sure to write down 'can tago mago' or 'can ege bamyasi' in the search field, or you'll get shitloads of crappy songs such as 'can i borrow you a feeling?' or 'what can i do to make you love me?' or shit like that. Personal experience. :18:

i have been trying to convince my brother of their greatness but he refuses to really check them out, dismissing them as typical boring prog rock (blah). i'll bring him around. i could've swore i've heard cedric go into mushroom live at somepoint, i just can't remember which show i think it may have been or i could just be nuts. yeah, i like can

Can is one of the greatest bands ever. Tago Mago, Ege Bamyasi and Future Days are like the holy trinity. If you're really into em check out the double DVD that came out late last year. Good stuff there. Favorite song? Can't pick just one but maybe Paperhouse, Halleluwah, Little Star, Bel Air, so many good ones.

Seems like every so often a bunch of people will discover Can at once. Its mind-blowing at first when you hear how good they were yet hardly anyone knew it at the time cause they were so ahead of their time.

Yeah Vitamin C is pretty infectous that way. I just wish it were longer, it fades too early. I heard some hip-hop track that samples it earlier this year but I forget who did it.

I've heard good talk of them....Is there anywhere I can score Mp3's off servers on the internet? My computer is allergic to P2P. Not so much FTP, but more so P2P.
