I was thinking about this today. Since Phish is done and all. I know there aren't that many Phish fans here, but we'll just see what happens. I didn't include Siket Disc because 1. I didn't have enough room and 2. Its not really well known, just instrumental improv.

This was a really hard choice for me, but I had to choose Story Of The Ghost.

I personally think that for the most part their studio albums are quite lame.
I much rather them live.
However, I will vote for 'Farmhouse'.

I for one am a Phish fan.

I still favor A Picture of Nectar. Too bad more people here don't listen to them.

Yes, I agree with all of you that their live albums are better, but there are many many live Phish albums. I suppose we can all post what our favorite live Phish albums are too. Mine is Slip, Stitch, and Pass, (so many good songs, Cities, Weigh, Weekapaug Groove, Mike's Song)

So last night Trey played with Fishman and Gordon. They played Divided Sky and Boogie On a Reggae Woman. A few nights earlier Trey played with Page.

I have a friend who thinks they will re-unite. I'm very skeptical. Some say they will once Trey gets his shit together and gets rid of his nasty drug habits. I guess it's possible, but i don't think its likely.

Opinions?

I think it'd be pretty sweet if they got back together and started making music like they did back in the day, stuff more like junta than farmhouse.

I am not going to put up a front and say that I didn't follow phish around during 97-99. Like everything in life, I was sucked into that scene by a doe-eyed beauty. I can still the smell sickening scent of patcholi, taste the acid stamps, feel my sore neck from sleeping in a VW van, feel the soggy bushes of hippie maidens, and hear trey's warm guitar riffs.

Ahhh....the nineties

Those times were some of the foggiest memories of my life, but I hooked up with so much hippie girls it was sick. I should of sold bumper stickers at their shows that said "Phishheads are easy."

Anyways, I have always been a fan of Phish's live peformances but not their studio music. In my opinion, they could never capture their live sound in the studio.

believe me, I am not a fan of hippie bush, but I was a stranger in a strange land so I had to act accordingly.

Sorry i've been asking everywhere,
