I just saw this band in london a week or two ago. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Steve Albini is a goddamn maniac.

This band is fucking great.

Cool. I saw they were at ATP. Where was it you saw em?

I read on the ATP board that in the club, the whole place was singing prayer to god on the last night, sounded cool.

I dig 1000 Hurts a lot, it's really well constructed. I need At Action Park.

Whoa, weird coincidence.

I was going to d/l 1000 Hurts sometime last year but the link was dead and I completely forgot about them---I found them on another blog last night and downloaded it and it is an amazing album.

I thought they broke up too....that's awesome news that they have a new album coming.

There's going to be a new Shellac record? Awesome!
Anybody ever listened to their "Futurist" soundtrack (not sure if it's a soundtrack for sure, but it's not a regular album as far as I know)

Looks like there's two leaks out there. One real album leak and one fake leak (which seems to lack some of the sound tracks or whatever).

Well I have a leak... I can't imagine it being a fake, what do you mean by soundtracks missing?
I like the version I have though.

From time to time you got like 2mins of pointless drumming or background voices in the studio + some parts obviously lack something like a melody ... it sounds like some pre-edit tapes. Downloaded the one from indie.torrents and it seems to be fine.

Well, so far it's a little underwhelming ... dunno, not that much going on, and the vocals kinda drown out somehow.
