the 12'' from gsl is out too, i got it in the post 2 days ago, strange because it said it was only relased the 21st and that it would take 4-6 weeks delivery, perhaps they just like me!

If anyone's interested, I found this on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4713160939&rd=1It looks legit, but I could be mistaking. Also, i'm a bit confused, so both the Frances the Mute 12" on green marble vinyl AND The Widow picture disc came out on GSL? If so, why is The Widow picture disc not up for purchasing in the GSL online store, like TMV other two pic discs?

Mar 28 2005, 06:31 AM
I think this is a good place to ask a question that has been bugging me.
Why the hell is the US left out of all the special features on TMV CD's? Be it extra tracks, decoders not being released on CD format, dvd's included with cd's, etc etc.
Are we the least important buyers? Is the US not important enough to give a little bit extra to? I know there are reasons for this i just dont know them. Could someone help me out?
And what exactly is the whole "demos for forthcoming album" cd? And are there any dates on this? Are they FTM demos?
Captain Beefheart
Mar 28 2005, 11:08 AM
Poor hugs...
The terrible thing is .... how is anyone supposed to know why the US doesnt get all these little extras.
Decoder isnt on cd here..... its the widow single with the song on it.
The decoder ... 'DECODER" is only porperly a decoder on the green vinyl... which they dont sell in europe or anywhere....appart from america.
I spend half my money getting stuff imported from you guys !

yeah i was wondering about this.... i dont even think any demos were recorded since omar was the producer and didnt show anything to the label until it was completely finished (for FTM).

it's official. there was some discussion on the board when it was given out at the Mexico City (i believe) listening party thing. i think it has 4 full songs from the concert. i can't seem to find the post that had pics and talked about it, but it is legit and a Mexcio Promo that came with FtM album.
good work btw Capn Beefheart, and sweet icon
